In the last three years PostNord has implemented online CTS (Heat Trace Electronic Thermostat) across all its 8 terminals. CTS is based on the use of AI for intelligent heating of larger facilities.

This means that AI can predict the need for heating by accessing weather forecast data three days ahead. Thanks to the sensors placed in the buildings, the solution can learn the pattern for each building and for example automatically turn off the heating if the sensors never detect people within certain time frames. Overall CTS and AI benefits include energy savings and better indoor climate management.
