Stamp “Georgia” – “What expresses your Georgia”

Georgian Post presents the stamp “Georgia” which was created under the marketing project “What expresses your Georgia”. The postal stamp has been created by an artificial intelligence.

Georgian Post, as the national postal operator of Georgia, since the very beginning has been creating and protecting the history of the Georgian people. It has been serving every Georgian to share his/her thoughts, to bring his/her voice to the world. Subsequently, we continued preserving the history through this project. This was the aim of the campaign. We wanted to maintain the history of Georgia as seen through the eyes of the Georgian people.

In 2023, within the framework of the integrated marketing campaign, we set a goal to create design of a new stamp, which would represent Georgia in the perception of modern Georgian citizens.

As part of the project, the website www.gamokhate.ge was created, where anyone could contribute and share his/her perception of Georgia, briefly describing what Georgia means to him. This may be realted to a place, sound, aroma, interior/exterior detail, dish, song, dance, etc.

Our message was as follows: Georgia and the way you perceive it is something special that only you can understand, feel and appreciate, something that no one can teach you. This is what makes you laugh heartily or puts you into reflection.

We selected exceptional responses and engaged leading Georgian illustrators to visualize them.

Each illustration turned out to tell a separate emotional story. Therefore Georgian Post team decided to produce postcards, billboards and other visual materials with these illustrations. This generated even more interest in the campaign.

During the campaign, the web page received 11,700 responses from people wishing to share their perceptions of Georgia. We expected the campaign to attract the GEN Z generation. Indeed, the age range of participants varied from 18 to 70 years old. 18 illustrators, including 4 volunteers worked on the project.
